Hand barake is a great ripping tool but does anyone know of a free app to condense a dvd so that it can fit on a single 4.7 gb dvd?

How about getting two notifications. Try telling me what the first one was? That's right, you will have no clue. Try using Android or WebOS for about 10 minutes and you will realize how obtrusive and useless notifications are in iOS.

I have just installed MAMP and created two pages: test.html and info.php. default.html is simply "<p>hello world</p>", and index.php is simply "phpinfo();". When I go to http://localhost:8888/ I see the two files in the folder. If I click on either of the two files I get a blank page. MAMP indicates that the Apache server is running.
Any ideas as to why I'm getting blank pages?

What about when you sign up for life insurance only to find out you cant get it because google sold your location to the insurance co. complete with logs of you going to (or near) the liquor store on a daily basis. Or the clinic.

So people keep saying that Bootlace is compatible with the iPod Touch 2g but no one says if its MB or MC, or both.
I would just go ahead and try it, but I heard Bootlace can brick your device if something goes wrong.

i'm not to keen on this whole cloud computing concept that is floating around at the moment. Anyone else have doubts?

Most people don't call it a 'cloud,' but an amazing number of people pretty much just use Facebook as their only photo-storage facility. Forget the fact that many of them become down-rezzed when doing so...and that's before you get into conversations about how safe the data is and how you can access it. Those kind of thoughts don't even enter most people's minds.
I've heard from so many people who have lost entire computer drives and kind of laugh it off 'cause their photos are on Facebook and their music is on their iPod.
You and I may see the downsides to cloud computing compared to what we do now, but for these people a better cloud-computing-workflow from a company like Apple would actually be a huge step UP.
